When we decided to move ahead with the purchase of an inground pool, we knew it had been something we had wanted for a long time, years in fact.

Having a pool is a personal choice. You do not need one to survive or sustain you. You do it because you know you will get personal enjoyment out of it, where others might spend their personal time and expenses in other ways, such as traveling.

As "home-bodies", we cherish our home life, our personal times at home. As a busy self-employed Contractor, my work life is non-stop busy from early morning, often times into the evenings and/or weekends. When possible, I can start my day with a refreshing swim and end it in the same way, it almost washing off all the issues of my work day.

Therefore, having a pool was a conscious choice, but also a carefully chosen one, as we wanted to make sure our "dream vision" was realized and we were going with a company that would help us realize that vision, work with us. We shopped around, educated ourselves on pricing, options, what to avoid, determining what was important to us, what we did not need, what we did want.

When we were looking at companies to quote us for an in-ground pool Erie Accent Pools immediately stood out when searching the internet. Of the major pool companies we called, Erie Accent Pools was the first to call us back and first to come in person to give us the quote. For comparison, several of the other large companies wanted to simply give us a price over the phone with little to no input from us on what we wanted. Due to our busy schedule’s Angelo came to out house on a Sunday morning and spent close to 2 hours with us going over what we wanted, possible locations in our yard, options for equipment and provided recommendations based on his own personal pool and industry standards. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. Once we reviewed everything, Erie Accent Pools reputation and price were what made us go with them to install our pool. They were in continuous contact with us throughout the process and explained everything in an easy-to-understand manner and never missed an opportunity to teach us about pools.

We were scheduled for April of the following year for the install; however, they were able to fit us in October so that we could have everything done for the coming season. Once a firm date was set the install crew arrived first thing in the morning and worked until late in the afternoon. From start to finish everything was completed on time and with meticulous work, especially the cement work. It was hard to believe that in less than 3 weeks we went from a big hole in our back yard to a beautiful in ground pool.

Their work is immaculate and we were more than impressed with how well everything was done. They closed the pool immediately after opening and made us a priority for opening it the following spring.

Upon opening the pool, they spent ample time with us explaining the salt system, weekly/monthly maintenance and what needed to know as pool beginners. We have consistently received compliments from family/friends on the quality of their work and how nice the pool is.

Since this time, we have been customers for our water samples, pool chemicals and pool openings/closings. Their staff is knowledgeable, pleasant and always reachable should we need anything. They always respond promptly to phone calls and emails.

During this whole time, we were lucky enough to have Krystan as our primary point of contact. She is by far and away the best to deal with and always has an answer to any question we asked. She really and truly is a consummate professional and can always seem to make us laugh. She always ensures our needs are met and offers suggestions and guidance with every call.

We have recommended Erie Accent Pools to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Andy and I knew our family needed a specific pool design that would work for us We required a ramp entry for our son with exceptional needs, but also a family pool for fun and relaxation for our girls.We worked with Krystan and Angelo for the better part of 2 yrs to come up with a design and a plan. It was so easy and comfortable to work with them.

The install of our pool was fun to follow and watch. We had some hiccups beyond anyone’s control (weather and medical issues) but the team at Erie Accent Pools kept us updated every step of the way. They went above and beyond with their skilled trades to get us this amazing entry to our pool. We approached Erie Accent Pools and a few other pool companies in late spring about installing a new inground pool for us. My wife and I have never owned a pool so even though we had a few ideas of what we think we wanted, we truly had more questions than ideas or opinions. Krystan took the time in late spring, a wildly busy season for pool companies, to sit down with us and answer our questions and add suggestions. Angelo took the time out of his busy pool construction schedule to stop in and see the house and yard and make sure what we thought we wanted and what they were suggesting was workable. Further, we approached our electricians and pipe fitter friends to get suggestions on who they’ve worked with and who they suggest. These are the reasons we chose Erie Accent Pools. Together, Krystan and Angelo helped us understand the workings of a pool system and the construction schedule. Our friends in the trades who run wires to pool pumps and lights, and run gas lines to heaters made it clear to us that Erie Accent Pools was a wise choice. And truly, because of Krystan’s planning/organization and Angelo’s efficiency and cleanliness on site in our yard with the team, construction started and finished right on schedule, and we had some happy and excited kids swimming in late summer…and ever since. Finally, since install, Krystan and the team in the store have been incredible for us as new pool owners, at helping us understand and maintain the pool. We met with Krystan and Angelo with a design in mind, but almost no knowledge of pool installation or maintenance. They ably guided us through the selection of materials and outlined what the process was going to be like. They also advised us on the equipment we’d need to maintain the pool and explained how to use each piece. Then we elected to continued the relationship with regular pool servicing. We have always had Erie Accent Pools maintain our pools in past houses, so when we built a new house and decided to install a pool our only call was to Erie Accent Pools. We were pleased with the timing of the installation and the timely manner in which it was completed. Most importantly to us was the pleasant work crew that were here and the owner on site working as well. The maintenance and follow up care we received for this new install was awesome; we certainly did not feel left to fend for ourselves. Even though we were previous pool owners they made sure we were completely equipped with knowledge and all chemicals. We found any small “emergency“ issues that came up were handled quickly by the owners and the service crew. Their service manager was awesome. I have recommended Erie Accent Pools to people admiring our pool and will continue to do so.
